I’ve had the incredible privilege of helping found Docusage, and I want you to know that while I easily could’ve had AI generate this welcome letter, I felt it was important to type this thing out with my own hands so that you know it’s coming from a real person.
For as much as our team loves AI, we believe that human beings are the most important thing about this company, and I wanted to share a few things about my journey to get here, person to person.
I’ve always had a passion to find ways to enrich people’s lives, whether through music, writing, public speaking, technology, or just having a good conversation. I love people, and I love helping people find things that give them joy.
I'm admittedly not a hard-core technology person at heart, but I do love how technology can make people's lives better. That idea was how Docusage was born.I have plenty of friends and family who spend hours of their life each week combing through documents.
After a few great conversations with a friend, I realized it was possible to create an artificial intelligence software that had the ability to instantly read and memorize multiple documents at a time, like some kind of super-genius human being, and then answer questions about those documents.
The outcome of this was that we could make a way to give back 10, 20, or even more hours every week to people whose lives revolve around dealing with documents.
Artificial intelligence could literally create more time (and really, more life) for people out of thin air, and we were going to make it happen.
When you think of the cumulative hours that we could give people back over the course of a year or a lifetime, it’s kind of incredible to imagine how much better people's lives could be when they’re able to rely on AI to do in seconds what would usually take them hours.
This is what drives me to lead the process of building our technology every day. I want to personally thank you for joining us on the journey to help create more time for people to do what they love through the power of AI. We pride ourselves on trying to connect with each and every person who uses our product in a personal way, and we invite you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you have.
